The Interdenominational Theological Center is pleased to announce the launch of the e-learning course: “From Soil to Sanctuary: Providing Fresh Produce and Quality Food to Build Sustainable Communities and Wellness in the Church”.
The instructor for this 5-week course is Dr. Heber Brown III, founder of the Black Church Food Security Network and senior pastor of the Pleasant Hope Baptist Church.
This comprehensive online course is open to all church leaders and faith-rooted learners. This course is designed to help churches provide fresh produce from “soil to sanctuary”.
- Learn the importance of having access to quality food to change the mindset, health and sustainability outcomes of entire communities.
- Discover the importance of organic food gardens and food systems.
- Gain the tools needed to build successful food programs for the church and community.
